The new model of Nokia, E71 is actually the successor of Nokia E61 and is one of the most stylish terminals of the E series. Nokia E71 measures 114 x 57 x 10 mm and weighs 127 grams. The terminal is a candybar, indeed wider than any other smartphone and has a body composed of metal and good quality plastic.The front is mostly occupied by the screen and the keyboard. Nokia E71's screen is 2.36 inches, it has 16 million colors and a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, that is compared with a BlackBerry, but this is disappointing if we compare it with the E61's 2.8 inches. Above the display we see the Nokia logo, the phone speaker and a secondary camera for videoconferencing and the light sensor

Under the screen, we find the D-pad specific to any phone, but a little more developed, consisting of 8 buttons, plus navigation. The first two are dedicated buttons for the menus on the screen Menu (on the left) and camera (on the right). Under them there are four shortcut buttons, Home Menu, calendar, recent calls and e-mails; between them is the joystick and two keys - call (on the left) and end call (on the right). Under the D-pad we find a full QWERTY keyboard. The keypad buttons are quite small and are glued to each other, some users will encounter problems. The fact that the keys are convex is an important element, because you have fewer chances to push a wrong button as you type an SMS message or an e-mail. The numeric buttons are placed in the middle of the keyboard. Under the keyboard we have the microphone.
