Nokia 2300

Nokia's colorful little 2300

Yesterday Nokia introduced a couple of new entry-level handsets, including the very unique looking 2300. The 2300 may be targeted at the entry level market, but Nokia decided to add a few features from the higher end phones to this newcomer, including a FM Radio and Polyphonic Ringtones.

Though lacking a color display, the 2300 tries to balance that by adding more than a bit of color to the exterior. The 2300 has a number of different color covers available and two different keypads that can all be mixed and matched to create a number of different styles.

Also interesting, the 2300 has a "SMS Junk Filter" in its arsenal. We're quite interested to see exactly how that works, as I'm sure that there are a lot of people out there that are sick of the random SMS advertisements they receive.
